Princess Closet

The Princess Closet, a member of Donate My Dress.org, is a non for profit organization that was established in 2010 to serve young ladies in high schools across the state of Illinois. We like to think of ourselves as their fairy godmothers, providing them with the means to fulfill a dream that will remain a bright and beautiful memory for many years beyond graduation. In addition to providing all the prom attire and accessories needed to transform hundreds of young ladies into the belles of the ball, the Princess Closet is an advocate of higher education and promotes academic excellence. In 2010, The Princess Closet created the Princess Closet "Believe to Achieve" Scholarship and the Princess Closet Davalos Memorial "Spirit of Giving" Scholarship. Each year these scholarships are awarded to a deserving high school or college student who has significantly contributed in their community, and demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and leadership abilities.
